We like to give back to society. That is why we do not make a profit and you can always come to us, even if you are less well off.

Perplex is a foundation. We run on donations, subsidies and very kind people who donate their time. Would you also like to help build this community?

1. Become a volunteer .

Perplex is run entirely by volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers who want to help with activities. Would you like to run a study café every now and then? Do you like to cook? Or do you like to have real conversations with strangers? Then we would love to have a coffee with you sometime!

2. Support us .

Perplex depends on gifts and donations. With the money we can purchase coffee and tea, cook meals and fix up the place. Are you enthusiastic and do you want to support us? That is possible by making a donation on NL94 INGB 0000344133 in the name of 'Stichting de Verwondering'. You can add 'donation Perplex' in the despricption. Because of the ANBI status, your gift is tax-deductible.

St. De Verwondering (founded in 1993) is an interdenominational foundation in Nijmegen that, inspired by the Christian faith, aims to spread God's love in a practical way.

The Verwondering's income consists of donations from private individuals and churches, rental income, income from the opening hours of the coffee house and an annual subsidy from the municipality of Nijmegen
There is no profit motive. Every year the board establishes a budget with an estimate of costs and benefits. The treasurer of the foundation is responsible for the implementation and renders an annual account. The foundation has an ANBI status. Click here for more information about the ANBI status
